Dylan Who?

Dylan Welsh was recently promoted to Digital Marketing Executive. He joined the team in 2020 post-graduation from Strathclyde Business School, where he achieved a Marketing Honours Degree.
During his first year in the door, he completed a Digital Marketing Diploma through QA & went on to become an Apprenticeship Ambassador for QA Scotland. He was also chosen to visit their London HQ to film an interview for their Future You Campaign.

Working in marketing is an exciting way for him to apply his creative side & eye for detail and design, helping brands personify themselves digitally.

Have you come across the Big Pond socials online? Our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, & Threads have all been managed by Dylan since October 2020.
As well as handling all the socials for our agency, Dylan has experience running one-on-one social media workshops for SME owners through the Business Gateway’s Digital Boost programme.


Search Engine Optimisation

Over the past 3+ years, Dylan’s been involved directly in a plethora of SEO projects for the agency’s local & global client base. He’s gained hands-on experience across the core areas of SEO: content optimisation; backlink building; & Tech SEO.  His article written for Ayrshire Magazine brings this knowledge together, outlining how to integrate all the elements of a brand-building Search campaign.
 

His Out Of Office Interests

In his downtime, Dylan’s in his element listening to techno & political podcasts (obviously not at the same time); cooking veggie food; shopping; walking locally in Ayrshire; watching movies; & dog-sitting for his family.
